Funk legend Bootsy Collins helped write this song and played on it. Collins played bass for George Clinton's Parliament/Funkadelic, and has worked on many side projects, including The Bootzilla Orchestra and Deee-Lite.

The video was directed by Spike Jonze, who, among others, has worked with R.E.M., Weezer, and Soundgarden. He directed Fatboy Slim's "Praise You" video in 1999.

The video features Christopher Walken dancing. Walken is famous for playing an evil psycho in movies like True Romance, The Deer Hunter, Sleepy Hollow, and Pulp Fiction, which made for a very interesting video because it turns out Walken is a great dancer. He danced in musicals at the beginning of hi…

Night Players show tonight

The Paramount Players will be doing a monthly "after hours" show. Starting at 6pm slt... we'll bring you the same performance quality we do at our Saturday shows, maybe a little more skin... little less costume. We hope to see you there.

What's the diff? You already know what we present at the Paramount; Night Players will have some acts that are similar - but it will also feature acts that are more - Avant Grade - acts that stretch our creative wings - - push our boundaries.

We have a  special guest tonight, Winnie!

"Message in a Bottle" is a song by English rock band The Police. It was released as the lead single from their second studio album, Reggatta de Blanc (1979). Written by the band's lead singer and bassist Sting; the song is ostensibly about a story of a castaway on an island, who sends out a message in a bottle to seek love. A year later, he has not received any sort of response, and despairs, thinking he is destined to be alone. The next day, he sees "a hundred billion bottles" on the shore, finding out that there are more people like him out there.

Rolling Stone ranked it number 65 on its list of the "100 Greatest Guitar Songs of All Time".

August Sneek Peek

So it's August, we have a new show coming this Saturday! Anything Goes is the theme, so... anything can be done by any dancer! One particular dancer picked a James Bond theme song. She loves it, she just had to dance to it!

Here are some song facts for you to enjoy...
(from Wikipedia)
"Skyfall" is the theme song of the 2012 James Bond film of the same name, performed by English recording artist Adele. It was written by Adele and producer Paul Epworth and features orchestration by J. A. C. Redford. Film company Eon Productions invited the singer to work on the theme song in early 2011, a task that Adele accepted after reading the film's script. While composing the song, Adele and Epworth aimed to capture the mood and style of the other Bond themes, including dark and moody lyrics descriptive of the film's plot.

"Skyfall" was released at 0:07 BST on 5 October 2012 as part of the Global James Bond Day, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the release of Dr. No,…
